Positive Mainstream Hip-Hop? Really?
So, I just got the new Rock & Rap Confidential, number 223, in my e-mail, and one of the first articles is about the overlooked positive content in mainstream hip hop. Now, I must admit, incredulity is my immediate reaction to somebody alleging that 50 Cent has made a socially aware statement anytime in human history. But that's just my opinion. Lil Wayne did indeed have that Georgia Bush song, and that was tight, but I don't know... Am I wrong?
