Twelve tells the story of 12-year-old Anni, who discovers an AOL chatroom in 1998 and enters into a wild virtual social world. She makes friends, enemies and eventually falls for a 27-year-old man. After being released as an interactive e-book on iTunes in 2013 and subsequently censored, Twelve is now back as a physical book designed by Molly Soda.
